Not liking a hockey player doesn’t make you racist. It just means you don’t like him. I hate lots of players around the league. PK included. I can’t stand the guy. Doesn’t mean I’m racist and hate all black people. I just think he’s overrated for the way he plays and they are a a lot of better defensemen than him.

I love PK and you know that, but that’s not entirely true... not all the people that don’t like him are racist. Many are, too be sure, but there’s also a lot of people that are just “old fashioned hockey players should be humble and keep quiet and not show off”.

An example that springs to mind... remember when Hertl got 4 goals in one game as a rookie? The old dudes were on him like shit on velcro.

Too bad, because the NHL needs more personality outside the dressing room doors. I get not being a total jerk and looking for the spotlight all the time... but come on. If nobody else is going to take it he might as well have it.
